Michelle has been making difficult subjects and problems easier to understand and resolve for residents of Cumming, Georgia and the surrounding North Metro area. What happens when a loved one does not have a financial power of attorney, a healthcare directive, or a will/trust? Some parents or loved ones refuse to sign "one of those" legal documents because their mama and daddy did fine without them or they're certain you will take all their money and put them in a home.

A Will, also known as a Last Will and Testament, is a document many believe you always need. It is also a document many try to do by themselves. Not everyone needs a Will. You only need a Will if you have a "probate estate". Whether you need information on the legal processes or have an issue that needs immediate attention, we are here to help. You can call our office or fill out the form available to you.

Tell us what you need - we are here to help. Michelle is so easy to talk to. I was nervous about meeting some stranger and having to talk about my family and all our quirks.
Services
My philosophy begins with planning in advance, which helps to discourage and eliminate conflicts and hardships in providing care for aging loved ones and administering their estates.
In Dr. Seuss', "Oh The Places You'll Go", he talks about how someone should go through life.
In that book, he says: "And I know you'll hike far and face up to your problems whatever they are."
In reality, most people do not want to face up to their problems.
Most folks would rather not talk about what happens if they are sick or disabled and they definitely don't want to talk about dying and what happens after they die.
Before we can help, we need to know what the problem is.
Are you nervous about calling an attorney's office?
How about if you could talk to our team for a half hour without charge?
That's how we begin.
First, let's get together by phone or in person.
If, after the first half hour, you or I believe you cannot be helped here, then we'll connect you with the people who can help.
For planning clients, the process from start to finish is 3-5 meetings and 60 days to delivery.
Our first meeting is called the initial meeting.
Don't let the state make decisions about your estate.
Wills help ensure your children are cared for and your assets are distributed the way you want.
Trusts are a great planning tool and they are available for the regular everyday people and can be useful for a client even without a high value in their estate.
A durable power of attorney is one of the most important documents a living adult should have.
It allows someone else to handle your financial affairs while you are alive.
