I have spent the past 23 years prosecuting cases and defending clients in state and federal courtrooms and administrative hearing venues all over New York State. I speak for those who need a voice, and I have seen what happens when business disputes escalate and end up in court. Healthcare providers seek my guidance in keeping the business side of medical practice in compliance with federal, state and local law so that they can focus on improving health for thousands on Long Island.

Most recently, I defended a medical practice that was going to be terminated by a major insurance carrier. I demanded arbitration as provided in the Provider Agreement and prepared to fight the insurer's flawed decision to terminate my client. Before arbitration began, the insurer rescinded the termination and the client remains a valuable in-network provider.

In the spring I provided compliance opinions about a client's group medical practice that resulted in a substantial investment from a private equity firm.
