She is an Ormond Beach native and graduate of Seabreeze High School, after which she attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY for undergrad and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York City.
While in law school, she served as Chair of a non-profit corporation serving the unemployed population of NYC, which won her the Cardozo Public Service and Achievement Award upon graduation.
