Walker, Billingsley & Bair
Our firm takes pride in ensuring all clients who come to us for advice are given the information they need to make informed decisions about their legal options. No matter where you live in Iowa, we can help. Since 1975, we have helped hundreds of injured Iowans make financial recoveries from injuries. Unfortunately, in the last 40 years, we have seen far too many hardworking Iowans make costly mistakes before they hired us because clients did not know about their rights and responsibilities under Iowa law.

While you may not need an attorney in your case, you should at least learn about your rights and responsibilities so you can avoid making a costly mistake. Knowledge is Power - Our injury attorneys are dedicated to Leveling the Playing Field Between Injured Iowans and Insurance Companies. The attorneys at our firm have written injury books and articles and provided legal education for other attorneys.

Our knowledge and experience put the power in your hands so you can make the right decisions.
Services
Walker, Billingsley & Bair is an Iowa four attorney firm with more than 100 years of combined experience with an emphasis on personal service.
Each year, we accept a limited number of cases from the hundreds of people who ask us to represent them.
We are not a "mill" law firm and our paralegals and assistants do not negotiate our cases.
Fewer cases means more time for you and, we believe, better results overall.
We handle a wide variety of cases throughout the State of Iowa and have four central Iowa offices in Des Moines, Ankeny, Newton, and Marshalltown to better serve our clients, but each of our four attorneys has a few areas of law that they focus their practice on to meet your legal needs.
Take away the stress in dealing with the insurance company and wondering if you are doing the right things in your case.
2. Protect Your Rights and do everything in our power to see you are treated fairly by getting the medical care you need in a timely fashion and that you are paid the compensation you deserve.
3. Treat you like family by returning your phone calls, responding to emails and keeping you informed about your case.
You pay no up front costs or retainers and we are only paid if we are successful and then it is a percentage of what we recover for you.
Are You Searching for an Iowa Law Firm That Can Answer Questions Regarding Your Injury Case?.
There are plenty of law firms in Des Moines, Iowa for personal injury and workers compensation cases.
Our firm takes pride in ensuring all Iowa residents who come to us for advice are given the information they need to make informed decisions about their legal options.
No matter where you live in Iowa, we can help.
We have fully staffed offices in Des Moines, Newton, Ankeny, and Marshalltown along with by appointment only locations throughout the state of Iowa including Cedars Rapids, Waterloo, Davenport, Dubuque, Decorah, Council Bluffs, Algona, and Sioux City.
These are great questions and ones that the insurance adjustor is not likley to answer for you so we will answer them for you at no cost or risk.
Note: the insurance adjustor is not required to help you and does not even have to tell you the truth.
Iowa's workers' compensation program is complex and can be difficult to understand.
If you know someone else who has gone through their own workers' compensation claim, you may be familiar with their frustration.
What you may not know is that some attorneys, including all of us here at Walker, Billingsley & Bair, will talk with you for free about your claim.
1. CONTINUE TO TREAT IF YOU ARE STILL IN PAIN: If you decide to stop seeing your doctor because you hope or think you will get better on your own, you have made a mistake.
If you fail to see a doctor regularly then in the eyes of the insurance company and perhaps a judge or jury you must be fine.
While do not need or want to go see a doctor every day, you do need to see your doctors every few weeks and tell them if you are still having problems.
If your doctor says "follow-up as needed", this means that you should come back in a few weeks if you are still having problems.
