I have 15 years of experience as a practicing attorney, focusing primarily on litigation and trial work.

I've represented private individuals, small businesses, and large civic stakeholders. I've worked in private practice and for the Iowa Attorney General's Office. At the Attorney General's Office, I was a trial attorney for the Special Litigation and Regents divisions, and was specially assigned to represent Iowa State University in its litigated matters.

Collectively, I've successfully litigated over $100,000,000 in claims ranging from will contests and employment discrimination, to torts and negligence, and contract and investment loss. My litigation experience includes chairing numerous jury and bench trials, practicing at the state, federal, and administrative levels, and managing matters from complaint to verdict.

Tyler is a highly experienced legal advocate.
He received both his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Iowa on scholarship and with academic honors.
After law school, he was a law clerk for the Iowa Judicial Branch, followed by six years of private practice and seven years of public service at the Iowa Attorney General's Office.
His experience includes chairing numerous bench and jury trials, appearing before state and federal district and appellate courts, and representing individuals and institutions in a wide range of matters.
