Before I became a lawyer, I worked as a police officer with Albertville PD in the late 1980s. I believe this experience gave me a whole perspective on the other side of criminal defense. My compassion and understanding of criminal defense makes it easy for my clients to come to me. I graduated from Athens State in 1993 with a B.S. in psychology. I graduated from Jones School of Law in August of 1997.
Ten years later I went to work with the Marshall County District Attorney's office, where I prosecuted various felony and misdemeanor cases.
