Former Assistant Public Defender and Assistant State Attorney, Joe Mitchell, Jr. has been in private practice since 1970. He earned degrees in History and Political Science from the University of South Florida and was awarded his Juris Doctor from Stetson University's College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. He is also a member of the Brevard County Bar Association, Florida Justice Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
