Rich Magee serves as an estate attorney representing executors, administrators, personal representatives and beneficiaries of decedents' estates with experience in estate litigation in the Register of Wills and Orphans' Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Rich received his B.A. from Oberlin College and J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
He has lived in Bucks County and practiced law in Doylestown since 1984.
Beginning in 2003 Rich began serving as a guardian for adult individuals adjudicated incapacitated in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties.
These Court appointments led to Rich's enthusiasm for guardianship work and his dedication to legal representation of individuals, nursing homes and hospitals in over 300 emergency and permanent guardianship cases, primarily in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Emergency petitions may be appropriate to prevent an unsafe discharge from a hospital or nursing home, or to prevent victimization by financial predators.
Rich is experienced with the prompt preparation of the petition and other required documents for filing in Orphans' Court; coordination with physicians and/or psychologists for the submission of expert testimony in support of the petition; and proper notice of the emergency hearing and service of the petition to the alleged incapacitated person and other interested parties.
