Ava Susan Powell is the daughter of Gillis E. Powell, Sr., the founding partner of the firm.
She is a native of Crestview, Florida, and graduated from Crestview High School.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and her law degree (Juris Doctor) from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, in 1982.
Ms. Powell practiced law in Houston, Texas, prior to returning home to practice law with her family in 1991.
She is a member of the Florida Bar, the Okaloosa Bar Association, and the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association.
She is a native of Crestview, Florida, and graduated from Crestview High School.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and her law degree (Juris Doctor) from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, in 1982.
Ms. Powell practiced law in Houston, Texas, prior to returning home to practice law with her family in 1991.

Ginny G. Powell is the youngest daughter of Gillis E. Powell, Jr., and the granddaughter of Gillis E. Powell, Sr.
She was raised in Crestview and graduated from Crestview High School with Honors in 1997.
A graduate of Florida State University, she earned a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Cum Laude, in 2001, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University College of Law in 2005.
Throughout her time at FSU, she studied abroad both in Europe and at New York University in New York City.
She was raised in Crestview and graduated from Crestview High School with Honors in 1997.
A graduate of Florida State University, she earned a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Cum Laude, in 2001, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University College of Law in 2005.

He proudly served his country in North Africa in World War II, achieving the rank of Major.
After the War, he attended the University of Florida in Gainesville and earned his law degree in 1951.
He returned to the Florida Panhandle after law school and entered private practice as an attorney in Crestview.
He grew up in Crestview and had strong ties to Walton County, where he often attended court as a young child with his grandfather, Judge A. R. Campbell.
