Services
Born in Boones Mill, I am a Franklin County native.
While in law school I completed an internship with the Supreme Court of Ohio.
After graduating law school I was chosen for a 2-year clerkship with the Honorable George Proctor, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge, Northern District of Florida.
I worked for Smith, Hulsey, and Busey, a large firm in Florida with a general practice for a year.
I then worked with Evelyn Krippendorf in Roanoke for 2 years, after which I started my own practice.
I have been a member of the board of the Family Resource Center in Rocky Mount, Virginia, and represented Franklin County as a member of the board of Blue Ridge Legal Services.

I advise and represent clients in the intricate processes of divorce, property division, financial support, and the custody of children.
Facing the stress of a marriage in crisis, it's vital to retain an experienced practitioner.
The actions of your spouse and the division of marital debts and property can bring up thorny issues, and increase conflict.
I'm not here to maximize the client's bill.
I'm here to guide my clients through the journey in an efficient, result-oriented style.
For families with children, divorce brings multiple challenges.
A person charged with a crime in Virginia should prioritize a prompt consultation with an experienced local attorney.
Politely decline to explain anything to law enforcement without an attorney.
This is your Constitutional right.
Avoid another common mistake as well.
Do not chat about any aspect of the alleged incident with family, friends or others on social media.
A criminal record can lead to lost employment and income opportunities.
Even if you are exonerated, resist the temptation to vent.
When you've earned and maintained substantial assets in Virginia, you need a will that can stand up to challenges.
I can advise you and ensure that your property goes precisely where you meant it to go.
I can also advise you on the best way to conserve wealth for your beneficiaries.
