Keith has practiced law in the New York metropolitan area for more than 15 years.
He has extensive experience representing individuals, small businesses, municipalities, Fortune 500 companies and public utilities on a wide variety of legal matters.
Mr. Betensky is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey and he is a member of the New York Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, Westchester County Bar Association, and Bedford Village Business Association.
He is a New York licensed real estate instructor who frequently teaches seminars on real estate and land use law and has been honored with a faculty position with the prestigious Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors.
As a small business owner, it was important to me to work with a lawyer who was not only knowledgeable, thorough and accessible, but also able to address key concerns in the simplest, most efficient ways possible.

A: We have two offices.
The first office is in Bedford, New York and the second office is in White Plains New York.

Q: Do I need an attorney to represent me on a residential variance application?
Leasing: We have extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in all types of lease transactions, including retail, office, public utility, ground, rooftop, fitness club, shopping mall, equestrian and warehouse space leases.
Purchase and Sale: We regularly advise sellers and buyers on all issues related to the purchase and sale of real estate, including contract negotiation, due diligence, title examination, structural issues, zoning and regulatory matters, easements, environmental matters and closings of title.
The Law Offices of Keith R. Betensky has extensive experience obtaining land use approvals for private homeowners, commercial real estate developers and public utility companies.
We handle all types of land use applications, including building permits, certificates of occupancy, certificates of compliance, special use permits, use variances, area variances, equestrian-related permits and freshwater wetlands permits.
Regularly appearing before Village, Town and City Councils, Boards of Trustees, planning and zoning boards in Westchester County, Rockland County, and Putnam County, Mr. Betensky uses his intimate knowledge of the State and local rules and procedures to guide an application efficiently through the zoning process, including the processes required by the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act ("SEQRA").
