Services
FOOTE & MEYER, PLLC, was established in 2017 when Theron A. Foote and his associate Mason A. Meyer formed a partnership.
The firm is a small town, general practice law firm with offices located in Warsaw, Nunda, and LeRoy, New York.
Theron A. Foote and Mason A. Meyer represent clients in various areas of practice, including real estate; wills; estate planning; probate and estate administration; business, corporate, and LLC formation; adoptions; landlord tenant law; collections; and foreclosures.
For many people, their only contact with an attorney is in purchasing and/or selling a home.
A large part of our practice consists in helping our clients in their purchase, financing, and sale of real property, including vacant land, farm land, and commercial property.
Our staff is well qualified to assist you in the process from start to finish.
Here at our firm, we believe that one of the best ways we can give our clients peace of mind is to provide them with the legal tools they may need now and will need for their future.
Those tools include a Health Care Proxy, Power of Attorney, and Last Will & Testament.
Our attorneys are able to address family and financial concerns, as well as medicaid planning and succession planning relative to farming families and businesses.
When a loved one dies, it is essential to determine what, if anything, needs to be done to help the family during this difficult time.
Often times the help that is necessary is to commence an estate proceeding with the court to enable someone to handle the loved one's financial and family affairs.
Our expertise in this area will assist you in probating (or proving) a Will, working through the administration process of the estate while addressing estate and income tax concerns, and the final distribution of the estate.
Do you want to start a business, or perhaps, purchase someone else's business?
Or, do you simply want to protect some of the assets that you have, i.e. your farming business, farmland and equipment?
Our job is to determine and create the business entity that will best serve you in order to protect your assets, limit liability, and foster growth.
