The County Attorney is the elected public prosecutor for the county. Representing the State of Arizona, the county attorney shall attend and prosecute persons reasonably suspected of committing public offenses. They also act as the legal advisor to the Board of Supervisors, defend the County against lawsuits and may provide civil legal services to another county or political subdivision upon request.
The County Attorney derives his or her power and authority from the Arizona Revised Statutes Title 11, Chapter 3, Article 6. The County Attorney's Office is based out of the county seat, Florence, with small offices located in each of the county's Justice Courts.

At Family Advocacy Centers, the Pinal County Attorney's Office has the experience to help individuals, children, and families reporting abuse by coordinating a comprehensive approach to the investigation and intervention process.
The staff consists of representatives from the Pinal County Attorney's Office who work in partnership with law enforcement, the Department of Child Services, Office of Child Welfare Investigations and medical and mental health professionals to address the physical, emotional, and legal dimensions of abuse.
