The firm is owned and managed Lawrence J. Popkin (Larry), who has over 18 years of experience. Macon Benoit (pronounced like "Mason"), handles both civil and criminal matters and brings with him over 11 years of diverse experience in the practice of law. Adam J. Brittle handles the firm's family law matters (as Of Counsel). Adam has over 15 years' experience.

In 1967 Steve began his legal career in Seaside, Oregon after graduating from the University of Oregon with a bachelors degree in political science and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law.
In addition to his commitment to the legal community on the Oregon Coast for over 37 years, Steve has been involved in numerous community organizations during that time.
Steve has served as president of the Seaside Chamber of Commerce, Seaside Rotary Club, Seaside Jaycee Organization, and the Clatsop County Bar Association, as well as held membership in the Downtown Business Association.

After his undergraduate work was complete, he worked as an electrical engineer for six years, primarily with Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon.
In 2002, he started law school as an evening student at Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College while continuing to work full time at Intel.
