David has represented individuals, business entities, and municipalities in connection with federal, state, and local permitting and approval programs for over 14 years.
Although a large portion of his practice involves matters arising under Act 250, Vermont's major development statute, David also has assisted clients in connection with the Federal Clean Water Act, CERCLA, the various permitting programs under the umbrella of the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, as well as local zoning and other municipal approval processes.
Mrs. Cooper is a shareholder in the Firm's commercial litigation group, where she focuses primarily in bankruptcy and debt restructuring, commercial law and litigation and employment law.
She advises debtors, creditors, equity holders, investors and other interested parties in the context of out of court and in court restructurings, liquidations and distressed financing and acquisitions.
She has directed all aspects of the bankruptcy process for debtors (individuals and corporations), and secured and unsecured creditors within the context of Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code.
One of Vermont's preeminent land use and environmental attorneys, Jim Goss has been representing applicants in the contentious state and local permit and approval process for over 25 years.
While he is best known for his work on behalf of applicants dealing with Act 250, the State's major development approval program, Mr. Goss represents individuals and business entities throughout the real estate due diligence, title clearance, permitting, financing, acquisition and conveyancing processes.
His practice also includes defense of landowners in connection with environmental and zoning enforcement cases as well as hazardous materials and underground storage tank discharge cases.
Paul S. Kulig provides services to our clients on estate planning, probate administration, real estate and general corporate matters.
He also represents both creditors and debtors in bankruptcy and debt re-structuring matters.
Paul was born in Rutland, VT, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Columbia College and his Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School.
Attorney Kulig was admitted to the bar in Vermont in 1978.
He is also admitted to the Federal Courts in Vermont and the Unites States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
He has successfully tried numerous cases to jury verdict over the past 40 years in both State and Federal courts.
A former U.S. Olympic Ski Team member, Mr. Ryan has represented ski areas and ski-related manufacturers, ski academies, industries, and individuals.
Mr. Ryan is a Trustee of the Killington Mountain School and co-founded the Pico Ski Education Foundation.
He was inducted into the VARA Ski Hall of Fame in 2013.
Mr. Ryan has received Martindale-Hubbell's highest "AV" Preeminent rating.
