We have similarly succeeded in our representation of claimants and respondents in arbitration, and routinely settle matters through mediation.

JEREMY KALINA, partner, specializes in the areas of construction law, surety law and commercial litigation and has been with the firm since 2001.
Mr. Kalina has litigated and arbitrated cases involving breach of contract, extra work, delays, acceleration, defective materials, changed conditions, latent defects, design errors, constructive abandonment, payment bonds, performance bonds, lien foreclosure and other issues in the world of complex construction litigation, for both plaintiffs and defendants, on both public and private construction projects.
MICHAEL D. GANZ., partner, specializes in the areas of construction law, surety law and commercial litigation and has been with the firm since 2004.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo and his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School.
He worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the private and public sectors, including the New York State Office of General Services and the New York City Department of Environmental Projection.
Mr. Ganz was formerly Deputy Counsel to the Manhattan Borough President, Chairman of the New York County Lawyer's Association's Construction Law Committee, and has presented classes for continuing legal education and classes for construction personnel.
MICHAEL MATTIA, Associate, specializes in the areas of construction law, surety law and commercial litigation and has been with the firm since 2010.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Law from SUNY Binghamton and his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a merit scholar recipient.
He interned in the decision department of the Appellate Division, Second Department.
He has worked on extensive motion practices involving complex construction issues including breach of contract, wrongful termination, extra work, delays, acceleration, defective materials, changed conditions, latent defects, design errors, constructive abandonment, payment bonds, performance bonds, for both plaintiffs and defendants, on both public and private construction projects.
