At Platt Hopwood Russell & Cole, in Melbourne, we fight for the results that are most important to you. When you are up against a difficult legal problem, you are at war, and you should insist on representation that is ready to fight for you. That is a description of the lawyers at Platt Hopwood Russell & Cole. In family law, this means divorcing on the terms you want in the division of property, child custody, child support or alimony.
In personal injury, it means obtaining full compensation for your losses due to negligence. In criminal law, it means getting through the experience with minimum pain, penalty and loss of freedom. Principals Jack Platt and Billie Jo Hopwood, along with the rest of the team, are respected litigators throughout Brevard and the surrounding counties. We come to litigation prepared, fully armed with the motions and arguments to achieve your objectives.
Our lawyers know Florida law - not just the statutes on the books but the voluminous amount of case histories surrounding every case we take.

Services
The Melbourne FL lawyers at Platt Hopwood Russell & Cole are known for two things: the successes they achieve in litigation and their willingness to go to battle for clients.
The two are related.
By going into litigation armed with motions, evidence and powerful arguments against evidence, we send the message that we are not there to lose.
Opponents and prosecutors know we are not pushovers, and that we know the law not just on paper but through the huge volume of case law, one ruling of which may have specific application to the case at hand.
