Michael Armstrong Law
At Michael Armstrong Law, we pride ourselves on the 33-year work experience, compassion and maturity of our founder Michael Armstrong, Attorney at Law. Our firm has successfully represented over 7,500 Social Security Disability claimants with a wide range of physical and mental impairments since 1985. We often see clients that try to represent themselves in court.

However, they eventually find the process is a complex maze of forms, medical evidence from treatment providers, and evaluations by social security doctors. Add in the complexity of ever-changing federal regulations and you can see the advantage of having professionals working on your behalf. Our expert SSDI lawyers assist clients at all stages of determination from application, to hearing, to Federal Court appeal.

Review by the Appeals Council (a reviewing body for claims denied at hearing) is possible-if timely and meritorious-in the event a client's case is lost at hearing;. An appeal to Federal Court is possible-if timely and meritorious-in the event a claim is denied at the Appeals Council;.
Services
Michael Armstrong Law helps people just like you get the Social Security Disability benefits they deserve.
Our experienced SSDI firm in Albuquerque is here to help you navigate the complex processes of SSI and SSDI.
We understand how stressful it is when you cannot work because of a medical or mental condition.
We also know first-hand how complicated it is to file for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits-and how heartbreaking it is when your claim is denied.
At Michael Armstrong Law, we will do our best to answer your questions and relieve your uncertainty.
I have been practicing law for over ten years and have represented clients at hundreds of hearings before the Social Security Administration.
I have also worked in the areas of complex toxic tort litigation, workers' compensation, and general practice.
My passion for helping people is endless.
At my last job, I won national awards for client service.
I was also in a life changing tractor trailer accident and can relate to the frustration of going through the litigation process.
Also, I am a classically trained opera singer and love West Virginia Mountaineer football.
As someone who has represented over 7,500 clients since 1985, I know to evaluate each case individually.
I listen carefully as my client describes how his or her disability makes holding a job difficult or impossible.
I want to know how the impairment affects his or her ability to communicate, follow instructions, complete tasks, and get along with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
What challenges do they have with attention, concentration, and focus?
Only after hearing a client's story am I able to formulate a plan that increases the probability of my client's success-the plan may include writing to their doctor, taking statements from family or friends, obtaining school records, or scheduling an evaluation by a psychologist.
I enjoy doing what I do and getting to know our clients in the process.
It makes it that much more exciting when we are able to win their case and get them their benefits!
Working here is an absolute pleasure!
Mr. Armstrong helped my husband get his disability benefits and now I get to pay it forward by being part of a team of wonderful people in helping others to obtain their disability benefits.
I've worked at the Michael Armstrong Law Office for almost 5 years and it has been a pleasure!
I have grown throughout the years with the firm, and I have learned so much about Social Security Disability Law.
Social Security Disability Insurance, or SSDI, is a federal program that provides payments to people under age 65 who are unable to work because of a disability.
You would think that the process would be straightforward for a disabled individual to qualify for SSDI benefits.
Unfortunately, the opposite is true.
Out of the millions of SSDI benefit applications that are submitted to the Social Security Administration each year, a mere one-third are approved at the initial stage of the claim process.
