Family law matters are some of the most serious and emotionally charged matters that you will ever face. There is a lot on the line: your family dynamics, your children, your assets, and your income. There are also complicated legal rules and protocols that can be frustrating. For over 25 years, Crouse Erickson has exclusively practiced family law in Spokane County, a rarity among law firms in this area.

We are now the largest exclusive family law firm in the county. Prepared for anything and everything that may arise in your case. The attorney who wins the case is the one who puts in the most time and effort. That's us. We put in long hours and provide the high-quality work necessary to make a case successful. And our approach works. We have worked with thousands of clients and successfully helped them with a wide range of family law cases.

We handle matters as amicably as possible, but we are fully prepared to litigate a case in court if it best serves our client. Our team is comprised of five attorneys and four legal assistants.
Services
Since 1993, family law representation has been our exclusive area of practice.
Such focus is virtually unavailable elsewhere in Spokane County and this exclusive experience has repeatedly delivered exceptional results for our clients.
Since the firm was founded, our priority has always centered on our clients.
Our mission is to deliver results that actually exceed our client's expectations.
From the moment you enter our office, you will experience a professionalism that is unparalleled in Spokane County.
He wasn't always drawn to law-in fact he was accepted into medical school.
However, a local prosecutor encouraged him to think about law school and after he applied to Gonzaga University School of Law, he received the Thomas More Scholarship (a full scholarship).
His career path was thus decided.
In 1991 he won the Linden Cup competition at the Gonzaga University School of Law as the law school's best oral advocate.
In 1992, he followed that up with the National Moot Court award for best written brief in competition involving every United States law school.
Alison Erickson is a graduate of Gonzaga Law School whose practice focuses exclusively on family law.
At Gonzaga Law School she was a merit scholar.
If you asked Alison what she most enjoys about her job as a family lawyer, she would say that she enjoys crafting creative solutions to her clients' problems.
Sometimes the answer isn't obvious or isn't something the court is likely to order on its own, so it's her job to come up with something that suits multiple parties' interests and still falls within the parameters of the law.
Evan Dobbs is an Associate Attorney with Crouse Erickson.
Evan earned his undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law.
While at UW Law, Evan served as Managing Editor for the Washington Law Review.
Evan also served as a Extern for the Honorable Kevin Korsmo of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division III.
In his time with the Court of Appeals, Evan was able to sharpen his legal writing and research skills, while also gaining valuable perspective from the region's best oral advocates.
Jacob Allen graduated from the Gonzaga University School of Law.
During law school, Jacob excelled in the Clarke Cup Oral Argument competition, was admitted to Gonzaga Law Review's editorial staff, and was elected as the Development Chair of Gonzaga Law Review.
During law school, Jacob began actively working to ensure fair and equal access to the courts for all residents, regardless of income.
This necessarily led to significant work in the areas of criminal and family law matters.
It was during this time that Jacob determined that he wanted to focus his practice on family law, and since his graduation from law school, family law has become the sole area to which he limits his practice.
