Firm partner Wilfrid C. Lemann chairs the firm's Business Law Department and focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, general business law, corporations, partnerships, securities, mergers and acquisitions, nonprofit corporations, and church law.
Mr. Lemann received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Santa Clara and his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University, where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta International Legal Fraternity and member of the National Mock Trial Team.

In addition to providing representation and assistance with post-mortem trust administration after the death of a trustor, we also provide assistance with trust administration during the lifetime of the trustor, including advising our clients regarding the use of notices to beneficiaries when a gift has been made to an irrevocable trust (which are referred to as Crummey notices after the definitive case in this area), and work closely with the client's tax advisor to ensure the proper preparation and filing of gift tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns.
