Handler & Levine
This is a devastating loss for his family and our firm has lost its founder, and our attorneys and employees have lost a friend and mentor. For those of you who have not seen it, the Washington Post obituary, with the original photo, can be found here. Norman's greatest trait as an attorney was not his legal knowledge, his tax experience or his inexplicable love of forms and calculations - it was his empathy and humanity.

Norman found a deep connection with his clients, and often them to him, through their common experiences, shared values, and often friendship. Our goal will be for the firm to keep that humanity as our cornerstone going forward. In regard to Handler & Levine and our service to you, we are committed to the continuity of Norman's excellent service for all of our clients.

Our attorneys and staff have long tenures with the firm and have worked directly with Norman for many years on his client matters. We are all available to answer questions and to continue to provide the counsel you have come to expect.
