I came of age during the Civil Rights movement and the anti-war movement.
I went to law school after working toward a doctorate in psychology because I believed there were great injustices in the world and lawyers were the people trying to right them.
I started the practice of law in the NJ Office of the Public Defender where I expected to defend the Constitution, and learned that the day to day practice of criminal defense law was much more mundane.
After a few years I turned to private practice where my focus was largely on family issues.
