He earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University and returned to Cleveland to earn his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.
Following his admission to the Ohio Bar in 2004, Mr. Botnick served as a Cuyahoga County prosecutor for seven years handling serious felony cases, including murder, rape, arson, drug trafficking, computer crimes, and theft-related offenses, among numerous other crimes.
