Randall Barnett was initially convicted in two felony cases and an 18 month prison sentence was imposed by Judge Pamela Barker of the Court of Common Pleas.
He was represented at that stage by the Public Defender.
Mr. Gibbons was then retained by Barnett's fiance to obtain his early release from the penitentiary.
Mr. Gibbons worked with his clients to repay the full amount of restitution to the victim and to pay off the fines and court costs.

Arbitration Proceedings brought under the Federal Randolph-Sheppard, Blind Vendors Act.
Mr. Gibbons represented his old friend, Richard L. Bird, in a collection lawsuit brought by the State of Ohio, Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired, and in a subsequent Randolph-Sheppard, Blind Vendors Act Arbitration.
The Randolph-Sheppard Blind Vendors Act is a little known Federal Statute which provides for the administration of coffee shops and vending machines stands operated by disabled blind vendors on public properties.
Mr. Gibbons was retained by Mr. Groth to represent him in a criminal action brought by the United States Attorney in Federal Court in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mr. Groth was formerly employed by a national wireless cell phone company as a commercial sales representative.
He was terminated from his employment when his employer alleged that he caused a commercial customer to order extra, unneeded cell phones, recovered those phones from the customer and later resold the phones on eBay.
The employer chose not to bring a civil suit against their former sales representative.
