Every year, millions of people are involved in car accidents from which they sustain injury.
Those injuries can range from soft-tissue injuries that can be resolved through proper medical care to catastrophic injuries, which are injuries from which a person never fully recovers.
Such injuries can include brain injuries, amputations, paralysis, spinal cord injuries, and loss of vision or hearing.
While the car wreck itself is scary, the aftermath can be even more harrowing, confusing and stressful.

Nearly 5,000 pedestrians are killed every year in pedestrian traffic accidents, and another 70,000+ are injured as a result of such accidents.
This means approximately every two hours a fatality results from a pedestrian traffic accident, and approximately every eight minutes a non-fatality injury results from such accidents.
These numbers do not include accidents occurring on private property, such as parking lots and driveways.
With the number of distractions available to drivers, including cell phones and other mobile devices, pedestrian accidents are only likely to increase in the years to come.

Injuries from dog bites can range from minor to severe, in some cases leaving life-long scars to the victim.
Although a dog bite can happen to both child or adult alike, all too often children sustain the worst injuries resulting from a dog bite.
In Oklahoma, the laws are generally favorable to the victim of a dog bite or mauling and allow recovery for not just medical expenses, but physical and mental pain and suffering, scars, and lost wages, if applicable.
Seek medical attention immediately.
