North Carolina Assn-Defense
North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) is a professional organization of nearly 900 attorneys and paralegals who devote a majority of their time representing the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. NCADA is committed to enhancing the skills, effectiveness, and professionalism of civil trial lawyers, as well as anticipating and addressing issues germane to defense lawyers and the civil justice system.

Our members come from diverse backgrounds, practice areas, and work for firms of all sizes, private corporations, municipalities and government departments and agencies. NCADA is a voice for defense counsel through our publications, dealings with the judiciary, public positions on matters of interest, and participation in a variety of events connected with the bench, the bar and the business community.

Established in 1977, our charter membership consisted of 136 insurance defense attorneys. The legal and professional environments in which defense attorneys practice have changed dramatically - and the NCADA has likewise evolved to help its members meet the resulting challenges.
