Services
Since 1968, Faraci Lange, LLP has been serving injured individuals and families in the Rochester area of Upstate New York.
From our headquarters in Rochester, NY, our personal injury attorneys have extensive experience practicing in Monroe County and the surrounding counties, and we have built a solid reputation with judges and other attorneys in the area.
After years of representing victims in both Erie and Niagara Counties, we opened our Buffalo office in early 2012 in order to better serve Western New York clients more efficiently and effectively.
A:Like all law firms that operate a contingent model, there is no charge to discuss your potential case.
A:We typically handle personal injury matters and charge clients what is called a contingency fee.
This means that our fee for the legal services we provide will be based on a percentage of what we recover for you.
In most cases the percentage is a third of the net recovery.
The net recovery refers to the amount recovered less the expenses incurred to obtain the recovery.
For example, if the recovery is $100,000 and the case expenses were $4,000, the net recovery would be $96,000 and the fee would be a third of that, or $32,000.
Being injured and dealing with a tragedy is never easy, but a tough situation can be even tougher if it is not handled well afterwards.
If you or a loved one has been a victim of a personal injury accident, it is important to hire the right lawyer to protect your interests.
With the many attorneys out there ready to take your case, it can be hard to figure out which attorney is best for you and your case.
Continue reading to learn some things to consider when hiring a personal injury attorney in Buffalo, Rochester, or anywhere in the surrounding areas.
When you are injured due to someone's negligence in an auto accident, truck accident, fall on defective stairs, by a medical mistake, by toxic contamination released from a nearby manufacturing plant, or by a defective drug or product, your remedy to recover damages is to bring a personal injury claim within the civil justice system.
The rules followed in this system are based on a combination of statutory law (laws passed by the legislature) and what is referred to as common law, the law we inherited from the judicial precedents of English law, which have evolved through the judicial decisions of judges in the State of New York over the past few hundred years.
After an unexpected accident or injury leaves you facing an uncertain future, you need a team of legal professionals, medical experts, and accident specialists who can work together to help you get back on your feet.
Personal injury law is complex, but having the right team on your side can make all the difference in the outcome of your case.
At Faraci Lange, LLP, our Rochester and Buffalo personal injury lawyers work with on-staff nurses, accident reconstructionists, and other various experts when investigating and building each case.
