John Stephen Evans is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and in the Western and Middle District Federal Courts of Louisiana. A Succession is the legal process under Louisiana law which transfers ownership of property from the decedent to his heirs and/or legatees. My role as an attorney is to guide my client through this process as quickly as is possible under the circumstances.

I began my legal career in Lafayette, Louisiana with an insurance defense firm practicing Workers Compensation Defense and Auto Defense, representing employers in workers compensation claims and auto insurance companies insured's in automobile accident claims.

Now I represent the injured party. I offer property conveyance services including cash deeds, title searches, acts of donation and in kind partitions, all inclusive of filing in the public record. I also offer partitions by licitation, but this service requires litigation.
