Our firm was founded by Dan and Silvia Leeper, a husband and wife attorney team who felt there was better way to represent their clients and make a real difference in their lives and their community. With over forty years of experience between them, they have the necessary tools and know-how to handle cases they accept. With an eye towards "life after the case", they have the understanding to help their clients through difficult times in their lives.
With personal gifts, they have the right personality and temperament to move your case in a manner you can respond to. In short, we founded this firm to represent people and their causes in hopes to bring some sense and justice to their lives. Being injured can be life changing event: medical expenses mount; work is missed and wages lost; and families suffer.
Having someone who has experience navigating these troubled waters can bring some peace and encouragement to those lost in the aftermath of an injury. When a marriage breaks apart, much more than a legal union is destroyed.

Personal Injury law is a derogation of the societal concept that when our negligence injures or harms someone, we have a legal, (if not moral, ) obligation to remedy the outcome of our carelessness.
This has been recognized by mankind since biblical times.
In a perfect world, a wrongdoer would accept responsibility for the consequences of their actions and seek to make things right for their victim.
Unfortunately, most cases are not decided by the wrongdoer, but their insurance company.
Of course, that company wants to resolve cases, but wants to resolve them for as little compensation as possible.

Marital and Family Law can be an area of practice full of joy and heartache.
The joy comes from adoptions that result in the creation of new families.
The heartache comes from the loss of a marriage, a dispute over assets or child support, or the removal of a child from a home.
These later type of cases often result in protracted and heated litigation that does not serve the interests of husband, wife or children.
The only victors in unnecessary marital fights are the attorneys whose fees rise with the temper of their client.

A contingency fee contract provides that you pay no attorneys fee unless a recovery is made on your behalf.
Typically, the fee paid is a percentage of the recovery.
The percentage is set out specifically in the contract so you will know exactly what your fee will be based upon the resolution of your case.
Most personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee basis because most clients do not wish to pay hourly attorneys fees while their case is being pursued.
You may feel free to speak with your attorney about the differences of hourly contracts and a contingency fee contract.
