Lora graduated from Ankeny High School in 1986.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Creighton University in 1990 and then attended Creighton University School of Law where she earned a Juris Doctor in 1993.
Following the entrepreneurial examples set by her parents, Lora established the McCollom Law Firm in January of 1994.
She has remained in private practice since then; her practice originally focused on general civil litigation but has narrowed to the primary practice of family and domestic relations law.
