Steve Bergeron was born and raised in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York, in a small town called Penn Yan (which most of you probably know better as the former home of the largest Buckwheat Pancake in the world).
After studying history and graduating with honors from Ithaca College, Steve moved to Northern Virginia, in 1992, to attend law school at American University in Washington DC.
To pay his way through law school, Steve also taught tennis and worked in the pro shop at Bethesda Country Club, where he spent many late nights studying.

Motorcyclists love the lure of the open road and the feel of the freedom a motorcycle offers.
But, because motorcycles don't offer the same protections as a car or other passenger vehicles, when an accident occurs, there is nothing to absorb the force of the impact except the rider.
If you've been injured in an automobile accident that was someone else's fault, call Bergeron Law Firm at 703.813.6460.
We help people whose auto injury was caused by someone else anywhere in Northern Viriginia, including McLean, Arlington, Alexandria, Vienna, Falls Church, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and Prince William County.
Over 128,000 car accidents occurred on Virginia roads last year.
Over 30,000 of those (roughly 25%) occurred in the counties and cities of Northern Virginia, resulting in approximately 13,000 reported injuries.
Bicycling is a healthy and economical way to get around, and as an added bonus, it's good for the environment.
Unfortunately, cycling also can be dangerous, especially from drivers who break the law and don't share the road.
If the road is too narrow to share with other vehicles, you have the right to use the full lane when biking.
Although in most areas of Virginia you are not required to wear one, you should always wear a bike helmet.
Only the jurisdictions of Alexandria, Falls Church, Vienna, Arlington, and Fairfax Counties have mandatory bike helmet laws, and they apply only to riders 14 years of age and younger.
